Solomon is a seasoned legal practitioner, and a Partner at KAGSA and Company Advocates, a founder member and Head of Litigation at ADVEJI.
Solomon holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons.) from Makerere University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Center, Kampala and he is a candidate for a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) at Makerere University. Solomon is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda with the audience of all Courts of Judicature and is also a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society. He is currently serving on the Rule of Law & Strategic Litigation Committee of the Uganda Law Society.
Solomon has practised law for over 5 years and is one of the leading lawyers in Uganda and East Africa in the fields of Commercial Practice and Revenue Law and Taxation; his practice includes advising on various commercial transactions, drafting contracts, advising tax payers and Government on various tax matters.
He has attended numerous workshops and educational seminars organized by the Uganda Law Society and other stakeholders.
Solomon’s work also encompasses advising on Employment Law, Succession Law, general Domestic Relations Law, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Conveyance and General Litigation.
Solomon is a passionate Human rights lawyer and currently also supports Justice Care Uganda, a local human rights organization, in the protection of land rights for poor and vulnerable people. He is also currently pursuing a number of public interest litigation cases in areas of health and education.
Solomon is one of the most respected and widely consulted lawyers in Uganda and indeed his rich experience will help strengthen and elevate ADVEJI’s Strategic Litigation Program for the benefit of the poor and marginalized people in communities.
