The aspiration for good governance, accountability and the citizens’ ability to monitor and track their implementation and hold Government to account largely depend on the population’s level of awareness of their power and actions they can take to guarantee their rights. ADVEJI is soon adopting the ADVEJI Civic Engagement Action Plan (ACEAP) methodology to facilitate citizens’ civic empowerment through, among others, the engagement with their elected leaders. ADVEJI is committed to building and strengthening citizens’ capacity to monitor, track and demand for services and to ensure transparency and accountability.
